The Resource For All Things Datsun Roadster S211/SPL212/310/311 Datsun Sports Roadster 1959-April 1970 circa 40,000 produced https://www.311s.org/phpBB3/
Finished up some final tuning and the alignment on the roadster today so we are set to go and should be heading up this Saturday. Thanks to Brady Wooddell and the guys at Custom Car Care in Grafton VA for their help. The SVRA event is September 5-8 and I'm looking forward to some good racing. Please stop by and say hi if your attending the races!

So cool, ready for some fun! Post some in car stuff so we can ride along.
As I sit with no operating car and listen to the return of the rain, posted video has been pretty much my only ride this season... Not the way it was supposed to go. That will teach me to not let the car sit all winter thinking I would have no trouble completing the projects "when it's warmer in the garage... Now, where's my blanket and coffee...". After nearly 29 years you would think I'd know better.
Have a great run!

Thanks guys. The weather forecast looks good but I don't mind racing in the rain either. Looking forward to seeing some roadsters in town too. Safe travels everyone.

Mike, if you can break away Thursday night, we'd love to see you at 2 Goats Brewery. I know me Mark and Gary owe you at least a few for good advise over the years.

We had a fun weekend at the races. Our race on Saturday was at 8am which was a tough one! We were gridded 7th and had the lead for awhile but ended up finishing 2nd behind (very close) a Ginetta. I was forced off the track at one point by a Corvette we were lapping and the Ginetta got the better end of that deal. Almost caught him at the flag. We managed the fastest lap by almost a second so I was happy with that and finished in front of the Porsche 356s. A very fun race for us all. Some pictures taken by Ron Freudenheim are below. I will eventually post some video.
Sunday's race started in the rain and there was a red flag after an incident on lap two so we really never got to race and finished 2nd again behind one of the 356s. The Porsche drivers and myself were disappointed we didn't get to race more but we were glad no one was injured and we loaded the car in one piece for another day. Next year...
OK Here's a link to Saturday's race: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Well done Mike! It's always a good day when you can load up with a unscathed car! Great pics!

Even better when you add in something like ..."as I was lapping a Corvette in my Datsun"
