Look what I found!

Post by 510longroof »

Measured 15x6, 4x4.5 +3/4" offset. NOS in their original boxes with centre caps and lug nuts. Need very little polishing to make these bad boys shine! Virgins, never mounted or had tires put on them.

Wow, thought I did well with the Shelbys, but that's a major score. They look great.

That may be a while. In the mean time I have these to put on for inspiration when rolling the frame around. Tires on them are new but very old and tall profile. These may eventually find their way on to the 510 if the fit is good.

Top set are American Racing. The set with the tires on them are an unknown make, it only has made in Mexico cast into the back, 14x5.5 haven't measured the offset but they were on a Z-car.
Tears will flow if I reveal how much I paid for either set. Low, low, low...

I am glad they were found! I misplaced them a while back. I can send my address and some money for shipping!

Courtesy of Ted Heaton $125.00 for the pair. I really only needed center caps, but nice bonus. Box dated 1972

Posted on a Z-car forum on behalf of the owner. I thought the price was a mistake until I contacted the owner directly. Why prolong the agony. It was $200 for all 4 plus about $32 in highway tolls to go get them.

The set with the tires on them I seem to recall less than $200. Less again as the centre caps were mismatched and didn't fit.

Neither set is for sale.
