New Guy Bought One

Hello All!
I am new to the web site, but not new to Datsun roadsters. I bought a brand new 69' in Barstow,Ca. in late 69' (don't remember the exact date) and drove it back to Georgia where I now live. I came back home to finish college and later traded the roadster (it was a 2000) on a brand new 1972 Corvette. Well fast forward to today. I have wanted another roadster and finally about a month ago I bought one. It is a 1970 2000 with original yellow paint. I plan to restore, but not sure yet the colors. I will post as I move along.

Hello again,
There is a picture in the registry of my car. It was purchased 8 years ago here in Georgia and went to Kentucky. I bought from the owner in Kentucky and brought it back. The serial number is SRL311-114213. I will try to get newer pics when I can. Thanks!

Weclome Bill. You have a rare Roadster, the production numbers were very low for the 1970 2000. They are a little different - gas cap for one. just order parts for your car and you will be fine. Enjoy the ride.

Hey Everyone,

I live in Marietta, Ga. Took some pics today while I was starting the teardown. Will post them soon. Does anyone know if the interior aluminum trim pieces below the door that cover the seam are available? I am missing a couple of pieces. Thanks.

Couple of pictures of the ongoing restoration. Been a year and half since I first started this project.
