I know you asked Dave but Sue & I are spending the week on the lake at a cottage - going up Sunday 9/1. Some R&R is in order.

BTW, Turn signals are those flashing lights on the left and right rear of the car that the driver in front of you uses to tell you he is getting out of your way

Boy you guys never let up, so what I haven't had turn signals for the past 7 or 8 years, I'm working on it!

Hey Joe are you near us, we'll have to get together, how is Sue?

I'm headed up Thrusday..........should be there around 4ish. Are you going to the brewery?

Sue is doing well, we can't fit a weeks worth of "stuff" in a roadster so we are bringing two with Sue driving one...she needs some practice with the 5 speed. I think I will go first...cause I cant bare to watch....We Plan on going to brewery Thurs evening.

We are staying on west side of lake about 5 miles north of Watkins Glenn. I believe we are almost directly across the lake from you...so swim across for a cold one or two ;-). No scotch this year.

We're also going up Sunday 9/1. I bet Joe and I will both relax and not even talk about show stuff till Wednesday. I think Sherry and George arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. Carl is always there :D

Linda drove about 75 miles back from the Glen last trip, on Route 6 with alot of large trucks and long hills. She did very well right up until the rain started as we were getting to Clarks Summit/Scranton. Traffic was getting crazy near the highway junction, stress levels went up and she had enough. Not too scary from the passenger seat.

Joe, I'll bring the bottle rockets for signaling purposes house to house across the lake.

More show prizes and sponsorships arrived today. they are being very supportive, as usual.

Over the countless times Ive come to this website, some how Ive always missed this link for shows, runs and events. Ive always just looked at the events page on the left-hand side for events. Dave has been helping me get my Roadster on the road, and has mentioned Watkins Glen so many times...but still I didnt realize how cool and big of an event this is!

It sounds like you will all have a great time! I wish I could be there! Especially with my Roadster! This year, the car wont be ready, and I start school next week anyway. However, I am going to do all I can to be there next year. I appreciate the help of Dave and Carl so far. Im glad to hear Gary has his car back up and running too. Maybe Gary you can take a few minutes and swing by my house sometime? Im one of the few VERY fortunate people in Lindenhurst to get through Sandy unscathed.

Im sure I will be able to put faces to the names and voices over the next few weeks. I wish you all a great time!

If there is a way for me to get in on the raffle without being there please let me know. I may have some parts I can contribute to it if Gary wants to bring them up.

Sounds like a ton of fun!

I will put into a pot for a poster size print. Proudly displayed at Two Goats
It is after all in country bumpkin Hector. It could be a raffle item on Sat.

I wasn't going to post this, but you forced my hand...

At least Nathan and I were goofing around, "Gary" looks pretty serious, he's all dressed up, gloves, hat might even have his lipstick on, if you could see through the beard. Notice he's buying more beads...
