I have been blasting through looking for specifics on this size rim on a roadster, and I think, it should work...
I am flexible on tire size...

Kind of a shallow dish?

Confirmation from anyone with more experience?

I calculate the back spacing at 4.498 (=7.5/2+(19/25.4))
I am running VTO Retro 4s, 15 x 7 +12 backspacing of 4.472 (=4+(12/25.4))

No issues with 195-50 x 15 tires.......205-50 x 15 on the rear rub on the inside if I run one wheel over the curb and one on the driveway....max twisting.....otherwise no problem.

Cool! Thanks Phil. Why 7.5/2? And I am guessing for yours, 8/2? Where does the +1 come from?

Back spacing is measured from the out side of the rim to the mounting surface......you almost always have to 1 inch for the 2 X the flange width to the rim width that is measured to the inside of the flange.........there are a few wheels that are a little under 1/2" but that only increases the clearance. You will still need to check caliper clearance...but you have room to run a small spacer if necessary for no stock calipers

Those wheels should fit fine although if you have some spacers, +12 is the ideal offset to center the wheels in the wheel wells. I would recommend 195 tires w/ that rim size. 205's will fit but will bulge a bit.

Cheers
James

Think I saw some the other day on Club4ag (Longchamps) 15x6.5 or 7 for a reasonable price. San Diego guy.

I just checked and they are 15x6.5 +11 offset. He was asking $1000 but I got him down to $600 which I think is reasonable for the condition. They need a little polishing. I passed on them, still can't make up my mind cause there are many favorites. Liking the Banzais, and Hayashi St.

I think Roadsters look great with XR-4's more so with 15's than 14's. Here is mine with 14 x 6.5 +12. Note these wheels do not fit over the front hub. The hub or wheel would need to be machined.

I agree with Mark, the 14s look like 10s

I think the 15x6.5's are mine... Likely won't have for a couple of weeks, but not in a big hurry...
