Hey guys just thought I'd join up and see what I can learn. Just got my first roadster from my uncle last Sunday. A 1968 2000. I don't know much but I've always loved this car.

Welcome! There's lots to learn, so spend some time looking around and be sure to look through the wiki for info. No problem asking questions here, even ones asked a billion times before... We don't jump on folks in this forum. We do however want to know more about your car and it's history, and we will encourage you to attend some meets or shows.
There are some critical things you need to know about the U20, such as the Evil L, shimming the chain tensioner, and the 5th gear issues so that she stays reliable and on the road. These are great cars especially when they are well sorted and adjusted. Let us know what your level of car knowledge is as well so we can guide you properly as needed.
Be prepared for people approaching you about the car at nearly every stop you make. Welcome to the addiction!

And I'm about 2 hours south. Have family in Chico and even went to CSUC for one year a long time ago.
Bonus, both of my cars are 68 2000's so I kinda know a bit about them (owned one of them since 1975 or so).

I'm also about an hour north, just outside Redding. And like Paul (Phred58) I've also had my 68 since 75, and I'm still learning about it. Welcome.
