Historic J is proud to announce we will be hosting another very special event at the San Leandro Maria August 10, 2013. Location: 5 Monarch Bay Drive, San Leandro Marina CA .

For the first time ever here in the US our guest of honor from the world famous shop in Japan “Watanbe-San” owner of Rocky Auto will be attending our event.

Some of you might recognize him from the recent show “Retro-Kings”. He’s also known for the amazing cars that come out of his shop in Japan.

Watanabe-San will have a booth where he will meet and greet and signing autographs. There will also be Rocky Auto merchandise that will available at the event.

Our guest of Honor will be judging all registered cars attending. Which gives you the opportunity to see how well you car matches up to Japanese standards. Trophies will be awarded to a select few based on categories which have been chosen by Watanabe-san himself.

There will also be media from well know Japanese magazines attending the event. Get the chance to have you car featured in one of their magazines.

Once again this is a once in a life time opportunity to meet Watanabe-san in person for the first time here on US soil.

For Registration go to http://historicj.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hey this is pretty close to me. I should make it no problem. You think a Daily Driver could park in the show? My Datsun 2000 needs paint and chrome but that's it.

I will be there! Great shows and James and his crew are great people! I would like to get the Turbo 240Z up there this time (need to finish a couple of things), but I may even have to bust out the 83 Supra just to give it some needed love!

If I am in town, this is on the list. As noted above, the last one was a good time. What ever happened with the Nissan article a bunch of us were interviewed for? Was it published?

I got an email from the lady that was doing the article but I'm not sure what ever happened to it. The last message I got from the lady she said that the article still had to be approved and I never got an email back so I'm kinda guessing it didn't get approved.

I just got an email today with the article. She said it was published in the "nissan virtual academy". Let me see if I can download it and put it up.

It's not entirely accurate but reads ok, imho. Good press nonetheless though!

Hi all,
If you are caravanning from Z Car Garage to the show I'd like to get a headcount (roadsters/non-roadsters) so the organizers can set aside parking for us.
