I'm looking for your input on the currently available wheel BRANDS & SIZES of the traditional 8 spoke style that will best fit a '68 2000.

I prefer the widest wheel & tire size combo that will fit without significant body modifications. And I'd really like to go with one with a wheel cap that fits the roadster front hub & bearing cover.

I understand there are currently several manufacturers that offer the traditional 8 spoke "style" in 14", 15", and even 16" diameters and various widths & offsets. What do you guys suggest?

16" watanabes with 205s. The offset has been posted.....

Lots of options! I just listed popular 15x6 and 15x7 offerings
195/50/15 or similar sizes seem to fit the safest without clearance issues

I think the XXR rims had post that went into what they had to do to widen the hub with a router.

OK - so just to be clear then, there are Datsun Roadster specific Big Caps that I'll need that are deeper? I'll give them a call at 18racing to be sure I get exactly what is needed.

Alvin - yours appear to be Panasports and fit perfectly. What size wheel and tire are you using? Have you modified your fenders / quarters? And your car looks unbelievable!

definitely give them a call...they have fitment specifically for our cars, even the center caps
I have 16x7 panasports but I have a narrowed rear axle to fit 225 tires
