Not sure what the point of bringing back the Datsun brand for these emerging markets? Why not just call it a Nissan Micra and be done with it?

The marque's new website says Datsun is the brand of "the Risers. Young Risers in high-growth markets who are ahead of the curve".

Funny, with exceptions of course, we're closer to a bunch of aging curmudgeons who are clinging to old technology in a modern world, which is fine with me. .

Finally our dreams are comming true, well it's a start.
Not a new roadster but a new 510! Called the Nissan IDZ: Can't wait to see it in action.
Nismo version comes with a 1.6 turbo and it looks great!

Interesting. There's a lot going on on that car. I prefer the non race version. Reminds me of a 70s era Toyota Celica ST.
