I live in northern California near Sacramento. I have 1967.5 1600 driver and a 67 2000 project car. Looking for help and the place to ask questions. I know enough to get myself in trouble and I will need this group to get me out Thanks for being here.

Welcome. How long have you owned your cars? Did you just jump in with both feet and buy a driver and a project?

Let's see some pics and add your cars to the registry if not there already.

Looking fwd to hearing more.

Welcome to the forum! I think you'll find plenty of help here.

And if you ever need any hands on help, send me a message. I don't go down that way too often, but I would make the drive to check out another roadster!

I have owned 1600 driver 2 years now. the 67 2000 I got in Aug of last year. The project has been off to a bad start, hoping to restart with a better plan. I had a 66 years 2 to 3 years ago that was my first taste of what I have become. Picture of my 1600 should be coming that was my first cry for help.
The 67 2000 is not picture friendly.

I'll be moving to Fair Oaks in a month or so. Unfortunaly the D SU will be trailered. I believe there are quite a few Sac Raodsters.

I live in Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks is next door. Yes there are a few here. Also a Datsun club that meets the 1st Friday of each month at 7:00pm near Fair Oaks. This is a Datsun club however the Roadster owners are showing up. So when you get settled I will introduce you to the people I know.

Jared Thank you for the offer to help and the welcome. I may need some parts I will let you know.

Welcome! We'll need to hear a bit more about the 67 2000 find, rust bucket or not... Thats what makes it fun! Redoing a car takes a lot of planning and several of us have been there and may be able to help guide you if desired. Without proper planning, the cars are likely to end up undone and then on craigslist. We are here to help!

I have a numbers matching 67 2000 car. Motor is being rebuild now, transmission is done. I want to put them in my 1600 to make sure all is well with them. The best test motor stand ever. Then work on the frame and body. Put my matching numbers 1600 with a 5 speed back in the car and drive. The 67 2000 needs everything done, most of the important parts were there. There is no part of the car that does not require work of some kind.

I do not know where to do this ,however I would like everyone to know what a great job Datsun 440 did on the shift plate I bought from him. I could not be happier with 67 2000 5 speed shift plate.
Great job the man has skills!!!
