Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

It turned out to be a fun weekend. It threatened to rain at times but it stayed mostly dry.

We finished 1st in class and 2nd overall in our races Friday and Saturday. Sunday afternoon's race was an "All Comers" race and mixed 3 run groups including small bore and big bore Production cars. We finished 3rd OA in that race. Unfortunately, I had camera issues so didn't get video of our close races with a Lotus Elan and a 240Z on Friday and Saturday. I do have video from Friday's qualifying and Sunday's race.

BTW - watching gear shifts it seemed like you had 6 speeds - or is the gear box rearranged??

Some knid of close ratio 4 speed box....maybe a 5 speed with 5th locked out?.......looks like you tried for 5th one time and it did not catch.......

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the videos. Yes, I tried for an extra gear that wasn't there when I was drafting the Mustang ;-) It's a goofy shift pattern 5 spd.

This is the original livery and number for my car as raced in 1967. The 5 spd is a close ratio race box and wouldn't be useable on the street.

Woo hoo, well done!, fly the flag! Bet that was just a small pucker moment on the first video at the very end with the Z car coming over.

The other cars looked like they were standing still, and once past the mustang it was smooth sailing...

Thanks for the run!
