My evolving status here

Post by Bob »

I don't really understand the categories assigned to us.

When I first started on this site a couple of weeks ago, I was a Lunker. Or, so I thought. As a fly fisher, I took this Lunker thing as a good sign. On closer inspection, I was a Lurker, not a Lunker. My wife did not care for that title. Not even a little bit.

After awhile, I was promoted to a Roadster Newby. I felt better about that. I told my wife, and she seemed happy for me, or her, or us. Still, it seemed to suggest that I was, well, new. I was, of course, but I really didn't want to be viewed that way.

Now, after only a couple of weeks, I see that I am a Roadster Nut. This title, my wife endorses whole heartedly. Indeed, before I received that title, that is what she was calling me. Know there are titles that go well beyond this, but I am happy to be a Nut. I think it captures me just fine.

See the -- Strange "65" 3 Seat 1500 -- for photos.

BTW, it really is a 64, and it has a swap U20, 5, speed, disc brakes up front and 69 2000 rear differential, necessitating the 14" wheels, which explains some of the commentary.

The registry is a little slow, and I am such a newbie I don't know how to post photos on this site using my iPad. Perhaps I should ask my 14 year old daughter. She knows stuff.

Having some trouble posting newer photos on my iPad. I know to submit and scroll down to the attachment to click on "choose file", but nothing happens. No doubt pilot error.
