Tie Rods and Tie Rod Ends.......

Hi All -- Can someone tell me if 1600 and 2000 tie rods are interchangeable? Can I put 1600 tie rod ends on a 2000 tie rod? Are all front suspension parts and steering linkage parts (steering boxes excluded) interchangeable between the 1600 and 2000?

all the steering components are the same between models. The only difference is in late 69 Datsun went to a different idler and a worm gear box. You can interchange the box if you get the steering shaft.
