Work sank its talons in early, so my roadster didn't get revived today, but still went with the 9yr old daughter, and saw RCMike's SR20 beaut there.
Strange day, very busy with people, was "Kelmarka dn other strange v8 kit car day, plus what seemed like a score of Ferrari Dino's (which are so gorgeous, the auto industry will never create another beautiful thing like that if they divorce themselves from full scale caly models, the transitions between features are so flowing..)
anyway, some otehr nice cars anda bunch of pretentious folks in clothing that matches their paint jobs....
I am liking the resto (rat) rods better than the F40's and Enzo's and Audi R8's, more and more...

I was amazed by the number of beautiful Dinos there today…
LOVED that prewar Alfa…
And it was funny to see more interesting BMWs today than they had at BMW day at Supercar Sunday...

Yep, that was gorgeous. I didnn't understand the Ferrari prancing horse stickers on it, but that bare bones, all metallic interior said "ready to race" pretty firmly.

That can be confusing! Scuderia Ferrari was a Racing Team before it was a car manufacturer. Scuderia Ferrari (headed by Enzo Ferrari) was the racing team for Alfa Romeo after Alfa pulled its official race team in 1933. Alfa later bought the racing team back and moved activity back to its own people. Enzo left in 1939 and was prohibited from building his own competing car for 4 years. Once the limitation (and the war) was over, he debuted his first car in 1948. The prancing horse came from the logo used by Italian Ace fighter pilot Count Baracca on the side of his planes. The yellow background signifies Enzo's home town of Modena.
