They look great! I see you opted for the "no over rider" look. How is the fit and quality?

The front went on easy. I had to "adjust" the original rear mounts a bit. They were about 80 degrees on the old bumpers. I bent them to be about 90 degrees, which got the mounts close enough to put on the bolts. Then used the ratcheting wrenches to snug them to the frame.

Fixed the license plate lamp, adjusted the hood hinges and catch and replaced the doors and hood bumpers

Nded,
The whole car looks fantastic, but....the door windows look like they are too high, there are 'stoppers' (?) available that when installed will put the windows at the right height.
Of course I could be a bit off on my visual.....

Cheers

I haven't finished reassembling the doors. I will check for stoppers for sure.

I had to notice the headlight buckets were rusted!

I have removed them, and now in the process of cleanup. While they're are out, I will make the modifications to support VC3500 LED headlight assemblies.

I decided to check a few things off my list today - fix the speedo, install some aftermarket lap belts, and install the door glass vertical track weather-stripping to fix a terrible rattle I've had since I got the car.
Disassembly of the windows went well until I tried to remove the height stops
PXL_20240422_024400149~2.jpg
salvaging these didn't seem possible so I drew up a quick 3d model
Capture.JPG
... and 3d printed them in resin. Not my first choice, very brittle for the application but its quick and better than what I had.

they came out well, and after installation the window stops very nicely. I dont know that I'll ever roll them up again, but for now, job done!

I'd love to get into scanning and 3D printing but it appears to be a very expensive hobby!
