I would like to see this grease gun thing recommended; the picture is grayed out with an unhappy face for me. Please copy the url in for whatever you are recommending. Thanks!

This one from Amazon is a little more $$ but has better build quality.

It has an H20 instead of the R16 so I might just replace it with a U20 and 5 speed. I will start a build thread for it once I get the new shop finished so I don't have to move int in boxes!
I'd personally keep the H20 and dress it to look like an R16. Make it a bit of a sleeper.

I removed the last stubborn sockets out of the dash yesterday, then spent some of today cleaning and refurbishing the dash harness. Terminals, wires, connectors, sockets and vinyl covers were cleaned or replaced as needed, though most had been done previously. Since I have an MSD system which the EI triggers, some wires were not needed and were taped out of the way, as instructed by the gurus during installation. In addition the light fuse was bypassed thru a circuit breaker as reflected by the red to blue wire on the right. I think this is a good idea, and it was that way when I bought the car. Easy enough to revert wires back though if desired.
I will be finding a new home for this harness, best for someone who burned theirs up and wants a used harness so they are not known as a member of the “ Sins of the PO” club

I am so jealous of y’all!!!
I have no time....like none!
I would love to work on the car...he’ll I need to work on the car!!! But now I am a stay at home teacher on top of being a stay at home dad for my 8 and 4 yr old daughters.

I really miss school 😔

So keep up the progress, its great, so I can live vicariously through all y’all; not to mention it helps keep minds off of things.

Cheers

Drained the fuel tank using a friend's garage and lift. Replaced with some ethanol free gas. Relieved to see that there was not much crud in there and hope the fresh fuel is appreciated!

😎she made me give her a new header, master clutch cylinder, repaired hand throttle, console latch and horns! ( I’ll post the horn button repair on that other thread-I think you’ll find it interesting)
And I ski at Schweitzer Mountain, 15 minutes from my door- the largest ski acreage in Idaho. And yes, I use moderation, mostly😇

Got the rear brakes done on the '66 survivor. Wheel cylinders were re-sleeved by Karps. Spiffied up the adjusters. Installed new shoes, had drums turned, new brake lines and cleaned up junction block.

Anybody have an idea on markings on rear end? Factory inspection marks?

Waiting on a few parts to finish front brakes.

My car has been off the road for about 5 years now, as I got involved with a truck project. I have just recently gotten back to the roadster and got it running last Friday. For my truck project I built a pressure pot to pre-lube the engine, and I adapted it to screw on to the oil filter fitting on the roadster in order to push oil through the gallery before starting.

If anyone in the So Cal area is concerned about firing up a dry motor, you are welcome to borrow this. It's a bit large (probably larger than it needed to be anyway) so shipping would be difficult, but I would be happy if others could make use of it.
