I believe the name of the person who owns that black/red 2000 is Jan.

Nope. This is her before I started the repaint project and her after the paint job and some trim added. Still trying to figure where all the pieces go. :smt003

I finished up my overflow tank. It had been leaking badly from the seam wear the top and bottom are soldered together. I cleaned it up, soldered it back together, tested it with a little air pressure, then painted it. I will have to break down and put a sticker on it once I get it reinstalled after the roadster is painted.

Honest, the ancient (1910) ignition spark distribution device just slipped from my hand and wedged between the tunnel and the bell housing,,,not unlike a broken bolt, retrieved it by pulling it thru the path of least resistance.
Lift police, oh dear,,,,,,

Hum, I wonder what lifts were like in 1910.
Not as nice as rotors!

Had it not been for Ted's "envy" post
I might have missed the lift on the phone nice!

I worked on the drivers side door. There were two cracks in the steel, the worst was on the back edge where the door was rubbing on the door post behind it due to a poorly fitting hinge. the second was in the inner skin at the top under the vent window. Here it is after I closed up the crack.

I then built the surface up with weld to make up for what had worn away. Here it is after smoothing:

After removing paint from most of the door I found a little hole at the bottom:

So I filled and smoothed it.

The door will soon be ready for filler.

Nice work. My driver's door had similar issues - that area is a little delicate to repair.

Yes, it was worn paper thin, but now it is altitude thicker than the rest of the sheet metal.
