Front and rear plus 4 over riders, total $1030. Every piece needed some dings hammered out, and the rear bumper needed some straightening. Every piece looks amazing.

disassembled right rear brake/axle (checked bearing) - cleaned brake cylinder and reinstalled.

somewhat trashed brake line - see quick dirty etc - bot some level of progress has been made - 4 forward - only one back
When I cleaned out my tank it was some pretty nasty smelling stuff but it wasn't chunky or anything. So I mixed up my old gas with fresh gas and used it in the lawnmower. No problems whatsoever.

Last night I replaced the rear shocks with KYB Excel-G's. I didn't realize how bad the shocks were until I drove it to work this morning with the new ones. Huge improvement. Those 24mm nuts are hard to get to, and so close to the package shelf that only an open end wrench would fit. Agony.

Also replaced my old glass fuse holder with a modern ATC ganged fuse holder.

That'd be the place! Cash only business, BTW... I'll be going back for the trunk handle and a luggage rack in a few weeks.

I hear that! Years ago, after finally getting the nuts off, I melted out the nylock using a propane torch and used Locktite instead... Going back on was soooooo much easier!

I didn't have much trouble getting the rear shocks off, it was getting the new ones on. Put the KYB gas-adjust on and I had to use zip ties to compress them enough to go on. Then there was the fun of the front shocks, the old ones were too big to fit through the hole so I had to take the front end apart to get them off. Gave me an excuse to clean up and paint. I love my blasting cabinet.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Wait, "change her oil", that's a euphemism for something, right?
Congratulations for getting her (the car) out on the Road!

Great shot Trav... It's good to have an enthusiastic co-pilot. I've got some great video my wife took in car on a twisty road that she describes as "the best roller coaster EVER" but she won't let me post it cause she is sans bra and, well...
Enjoy the rest of the summer... Get her out there!

Finally purchased 4 matching tires for the roadster. Toyo r888 195/50/15 these might not be the best choice for street use but I love the look of the tires.
