Spent hours standing in front of the grinder using the wire wheel to clean and strip the paint off small parts and brackets that were to small to send to the blaster. Note to self, nothing is to small to send to blaster!

I can relate to that!
However, I think you are prudent in DIY, small bits tend to get lost at some "shops".
Just think, you can one day sit back and tell your grand kids, "I did that!".

I pulled the tranny yoke off one of my 5 speeds (it was 2 degrees in my unheaed shop at the time) and took it and the driveshaft to get new U-joints and also balanced. One more step towards the stroker and 5 speed swap. getting closer getting closer

Got lucky on the rockers, I think. No rot, just caved in a bit at the rear. It pulled out pretty good so I'm feeling better. Thanks

I installed the driver's side latch and window regulator and fresh chromed front grille and head light trim. I spent a lot of time adjusting the hood-fender gaps. A 68 hood has issues fitting into a 69 body.

Yesterday, busy making a replacement rubber flap to go inside part of my heater box...the flap to deflect heat to feet or 'screen. Also modifying the flap to be a better fit, and be smoother in operation.
