New steering wheel looks great, I like the red accents. I have a very similar wheel and I think you will find it very comfortable.

I have that one on my Z. Very comfortable, and nice grip with the leather.

Test fit only, all coming out to double check wiring and get everything ready for final fit.

Upgraded the speakers that someone had cut into the rear:

Made a rushed trip to the ranch to re-position the cars in the shed.

After letting my red SPL310 sit for a few weeks (after an engine refresh, brakes rebuild and putting the bits & pieces back together.,,,, the 1500 started right up. Brakes still solid. Hopefully body and paint by late spring. Was able to quickly drive her around and reposition. Just in time for the tow truck to bring home the new addition, an '71 orange 240Z.

They look kind of cool side by side.

Smore what?

What I failed to mention was my battle with a colony of Texas Red ants residing within the vinyl/foam of the drivers seat, Nursing my wounds today.

3 cans of ant spray, 1 can of wasp spray.

Ants = +1, Dan = 0

Going back to battle next week. Bought 6 pack of Bug Fogger and two extra large cans of ant spray.

Those look really good. How did you get the "DATSUN" on there, same paint, different color, or....?

I painted my my OEM calipers and cylinders red too. I am trying to show my tolerance of young people, LOL. My paint, which is specified for brakes, scratched a little so I would like to hear how the POR-15 has held up after awhile.

Initially the POR 15 paint feels incredibly tough. I’ve used it before as a under carriage parts paint. Stood up incredibly well. I first prepared the surface then painted with their rust coating (black) then top coat (red) .its heat and chemical resistant.
