The clutch pedal seemed firm, but I pumped it a few times & tried again with no luck. I shot a quick video on my iPhone to confirm the slave cylinder was actually moving when I engaged the pedal, it was moving the full travel length. So, that seemed fine. I then tried starting the car while in 4th gear and it finally engaged properly. Maybe the clutch plate was just stuck or something finally loosened up. Anyways, first time in a few years this thing has moved under its own power!E2189C4C-14AB-40CC-BDF0-782514FB6583.jpeg4CB7B417-23BB-40B8-AB15-389A033159BD.jpeg2332B7DF-7072-49E9-BFCD-BD3DEEB00F8B.jpeg
whOoHoO ! I had that happen to and I had new gears so the through bearing was my concern . "not pull the motor again " ! haha whew , mine was the slave and master cylinder ... motor stayed in.

Installed JT's Bilstein shocks this weekend. First snow of the season prevents test drive to assess the improvement. Doing other minor fixes at this time. Might be spring before she's on the road again! Pat

Now that my 1967 2000 #565 is back as a runner, started to polish away 30+ years of oxidation.

I have a professional helping.

Wet sanding the whole car, with increasing levels of paper. You can see the old paint on the ground. Once the oxidized paint is removed, then polishing. I'll take a couple of photos of the products used this weekend.

The car was painted probably in the early eighties. It has a metallic gold flake under the red. Gives off a bit of sparkle under the light.

I finished replacing the rear wheel bearings. They were, to say the least, quite a mess. Happy to say that the weird humming from the rear end is now gone! Cleaned up the entire back end, flushed and re-adjusted the brakes, drained and refilled the diff. She feels young again!
