hello everybody

My wheel studs are worn and need to be replaced, I did not enlarge axle's hole yet
does anybody know where to buy aftermarket wheel stud

I would go to Napa or your favorite parts store. Use that part # C591. Take an old one with you...and match it up. No since buying a bunch if they arent even close.

Dann at Rallye has them as does Dean at DatsunParts.
Sometimes its better to get something you know will work from one of the vendors rather than hunt for a comparable part out in the wild.

i went to o' Reilly and bought 7/16x20 P/n 610-1086 wheel stud and lug nut
went home and installed, it fit and looking good.( if some one need more than couple set,
it better to order online, 10p for $12.95 versus $2.49 ea.@ O'R)

What was your method for installing the studs? Did you have to pull your axels and spindles?

You can install the stock length with the axles in the car.
The ones that are + ~1/2 longer can also be installed , but IIRC they one go in with a axle and hole in one "clock....so you need to rotate the axle to find the location with the most room to slip the stud in from the back....longer stud can be installed by drilling a hole in the backing plate.

So the fronts i assume requires calliper and rotor removal?

Correct. The fronts require rotor removal which requires hub removal. If your rotors are rust-bonded on they are hard to get off.

I know that Nissan still has the stock studs available for the rear. I'd guess they have the fronts as well.

FWIW, I replaced my front studs with the rotor on the car. I used an open ended wrench and a rubber mallet to loosen the bolts that hold the rotor to the hub. I removed the front of the hub and pulled old studs out and put new ones in.
