New to Roadster but not to Datsun

Hello everyone!

As my title suggests, I'm new to the roadster scene. I just picked up a 68 SPL last night. I know I have a LOT to learn, so I came to the place that just about every other forum points to for roadster info.

I have a 77 280z 2+2 to keep my roadster company.
I had a 72 510 wagon with a KA24DE swap...but sold :(

pics...because everyone loves pics:

I'm looking for gauges (mine work but glass is messed up), hard top or soft top in good condition and glove box insert (mine is just a hole when you open the door).

i'll add location in a sec....
(from Fullerton, CA USA)

plans...not entirely sure yet. Just pretty it up for now. The engine was rebuilt before I got it and has a 5sp manual transmission.
Runs really well.

I need interior bits and a hardtop or a good condition soft top.

Couldnt drive it today...raining + bad top = soggy miserable driver

haha

Whats messed up on the lenses? Mine were messed up too. I had a half bottle of "headlite lense restore" polish laying around, and gave them a few, (actually many) orbital swipes and now they look pretty good, even at night.

I'll take pics tomorrow. The pics I showed were from the seller's ad.

It's dark when I get outta work so my pics would be crap anyways.

Saturday...I'll snap some pics and show you guys why I need gauges and a better top.

THANKS! :D

I wasnt feelin' the blue when I got it...but people have complimented it.

...I guess it's growing on me.

I'm thinking of plastidipping it to a different color (a kit costs about $300). ...and I mess up or don't like it and want to go back to the blue, I can literally just peel it all off :)

Actually, I never posted the GOON on craigslist....but there were (and still are) a few 510 wagons on craigslist.

Here's an article on my Z and 510:

510 is gone and the Z had a facelift recently and now looks like this:

question...

I just found out that my brake lights work fine, but when the headlights are on, the brake lights don't work.

Any clue where to start looking?

I apologize on being a total noob. :<
