What! A roadster owner who doesnt work on his roadster!  . Mostly all roadster owners work on their own roadster! Good luck trying to find a local mechanic.

I know that I should be working on my own roadster and I have been for the most part. But the roadster is rather new to me, have just bought the 69 2000 and am a little apprehesive about just jumping in but I will. I just thought that if something major happened it would be nice to have someone else look at it. But that someone probably wont happen.

You might contact Jim Grant. He might be of some help. He has worked on roadsters for years and stll owns one, maybe two now since I think he was going to pick up another one several months ago. Helped me with my brake master cylinder about five months ago. He is a great guy. Here is his email. jcgrant4th@netscape.net. I don't want to give out his phone number but he is good about answering emails. May take a couple of days, but he usually responds. I know he doesn't operate his shop any more due to some rezoning laws, used to rebuild and service all types of roadsters, but still owns his Datsun which I think is a '69. Anyway, He has always been willing to help. Jim lives just south of Overland Park for a reference point. Hurst Import in Independance, MO is also an excellent place for service. They have worked on Datsuns for as long as there have been Datsuns. Depending upon what you needs are I might be able to offer some adivice also, but I am not a mechaniic, just another guy that 'works on roadsters' in the Kansas City area. I have an early 67. Hope that helps.
