Roadsters in the movies!!

Post by Eric F »

It was so cool to see our roadsters in "The Incredibles" last week! Check it out! Many thanks to Hoon working at Pixar... he's got to be the one who put all those cars in there! Enjoy the ride and the movie!!

Yup! "The Incredibles" opened last weekend... cartoon superheros movie... pretty good movie, my kids loved it! I loved it because I never knew where I'd see another roadster pop up!

And yes "Airplane" can be rented. It's a slap stick parody from 1980. I think it's still pretty damn funny, but maybe I'm dating myself. "Surely you must be joking" "No, I'm serious, and stop calling me Shirley." That s#*t still cracks me up. Oops, now it's on my Netflix list.

"Hey, you ever see a grown man naked?" And the whole "roger, roger" routine is so Abbott-Costello "Who's on first?" routine.

Hehehehehehehe......classic stuff. :D

Oh, no cream, I prefer my coffee black, like my men.

That movie has so many jokes in it, it's hard to believe it's under 90 minutes.

They bought their ticket, they knew what they were getting into, I say let them crash!

So, tell me Timmy, do you like Gladiator movies?

That has to be one of the all time best slapstick humor movies ever.

All,
This link is to the Incredibles trailer page. There is at least one roadster in the first 15 seconds of this clip. Now is it a 1600 or 2000 ? What year ? Is that a stock mirror ?

Just kidding....but run with it if you must.

Enjoy,

That is a tough one. I cant really see if its a high, nor a low winshield. But its white. LOL! like if that will determine the year! Cant even tell if the grill is 1600 or 2000. Cant even tell if its a soft or a hardtop!!! This one is too tough!LOL!, But fun!

From what I can see in the trailer, is the rear view mirror is dash mounted. With the fender mounted side mirrors could it be a 65/66/67 Fairlady 1600? Not quite sure of the minor differences between the earlier years though. Anyone? Does the mirror thing help determine?

I'd say its a late model due to the painted windshield and the larger fender flairs (pause it and look frame by frame). I haven't seen the whole movie yet however.
