Rod has one brand NOS original with key. Not cheap though.

I don't know of anyone else with a NOS cap.

I don't remember exactly if it was $75 or $110... I do remember that he had to have ship all the way from Japan.

I just know after I found one available, I made a decision that I will take real good care of my original cap.

Sorry, if I'm no help on that fact. :(

Rod sold a cap in Solvang last year for $150. Joaquin, these caps are not cheap new or used. They are proprietary and there are even a couple of different styles depending on the year of your car. I would venture a good used gas cap could pull $50-$75 with out keys.

This whole thread cracks me up. In a sick way. Last Sunday I was cleaning out the garage and through away a bunch of various junk. In the process, I tossed out ONE roadster part. Who wants to guess what that part was. The gas cap thread started the same day they take the garbage. DOH!!!

I should have known it meant something when the PO pointed out the new gas cap when I was looking at the car.

Sorry, uh, any body need some old stock springs

The type that I tossed is the same as the one listed on ebay right now. Not pretty, IMHO, but if it works.

Kinda weird: you can buy a whole set of new shocks for less than the dang gas cap.

"Yes, officer, I don't understand it either. They removed the gas cap, but didn't siphon the full tank of fuel or take the stereo or anything else." :?

Sure happy mine is in good shape w/ the key. :D

I guess he wanted you to hate him less, by not leaving you without any at all. :)

There is a seller on Ebay, Cooldude100. I have gotten a few things from him, good quality. He has disassembled about a dozen roadsters and knows his stuff, but doesn't jack his prices, I got a 2000 radiator from him for $65.00 and a driveshaft yoke for $20.00 incl. shipping.

If you email him, he can probably hook you up.
