Hey all,

My name is Dale, I recently attended the Datsun classic Show in Williams Arizona where there were a bunch of you roadster folks. :) Just like last year, I came home thinking of buying a roadster. Anyway, just thought I would sign up here and do some reading and dreaming.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm not completely new to roadsters, I had a 2000 many years ago. IT's one of those "should have never sold it" things. Here is an old scanned picture of it.

And as per request, here are a couple pictures of my current Datsun's

My L320 is a 65, with 48,000 original miles on it. It still wears its original paint. I've owned it for about 17 years.

I also have an original condition 72 1200 coupe. It currently has just over 44,000 miles on it. The previous owner was a super nice 85 year old guy. It was his wife's car since it had 1500 miles on it and she didn't drive much. He sold it to me about 5 years after she passed.
Here it is with the stock 12" wheels

And with some 13" mags

Again,
Thanks for the warm welcome.

Wow!. That is a nice L320! You may have some insight into parts that we don't. Keep in the loop and yes...get a roadster. I want a 2nd roadster. Convert it to an automatic so my woman has one too.

Yea, new S13 convertible (at the time) with my old convertible.

Close to the Islands. I'm actually one block to the east in a smaller lake community. Good guess.

Dale,

Though I sell mostly roadster parts, I do come across 320 and 1200 parts mixed in from time to time. Not sure you need anything for either though - those are two very nice clean Datsuns.

Come to Solvang next year; there were two 320's there this year. IIRC, a 320 and a NL320.

Thanks Paul,
I will keep that in mind. On Datsun's these old there are always parts needed, LOL.. Actually there are a few things I'm looking for. I'll PM you.

Yes, I would love to come to Solvang

Just wanted to post an update to my intro thread...

I found and bought a 70 1600 a week ago. Its been sitting for a long time, so it will need some work. It also came with a parts car that I want to get rid of soon because I don't have room for it.

Anyway, here are a couple pics of the 70.
