Ron,
Good luck, I wish I could be there. You might bug Tim about it, he is thinking about running his car (apparently registration is still open as of Monterey weekend?)
Hopefully there will be no bad luck this year.

Best of luck Ron. I would love to watch live, but the last show I saw at Coronado was the 4th of July fireworks, so I don't want to jinx you.

Things could have gone better, the car is running really well on its new motor although we have a pretty serious rear main seal leak that is going to have to be addressed. We did the drive through town with VIP guests aboard and ran the Friday warm up and the car is MUCH faster with the new and improved motor set up. I drove right past Adam's lightweight roadster like it was in reverse, so I am pleased at how fast the car is now.
In qualifying I did spin and could not re-fire the car, we were unable to get the car to restart and since the rear seal is leaking we are going to pull the motor and fix that and check everything before trying to start it again. It is possible that we damaged the motor when I spun, although highly unlikely, it is not worth the risk...
So we are done for the season.

Ron if you made that lightweight roadster look like it was standing still than your new motor must be a beast!
