Ha, must be fun to have a friend with a dyno who just decides to "tune it up" for You! What a great guy! Looking at your pics I see two things... one, so that's what a working oil pressure gauge looks like, and 2 I forgot that I painted all my gauge surrounds black 36 years ago and was surprised to see them in silver... different look for sure!

Glad she's home and getting some time.

Gas Station Chronicles. Filling up Sora for tomorrow's Driving While Awesome Morning Motors event. Earlier this week I was telling my kids about the "fins" that Cadillac's used to have and how the Big-Three all had their own cool styling cues. So much chrome and vast expanses of metal!

Great way to save on gas. Did you just pull it out of the trunk?

I want to give a shoutout to Jim Tyler (JT) for the wonderful Bilstein shocks on Sora. The ride control for NISMO comp-spec suspension is infinitely better than the KYB shocks.

Running through twisty sections at speed really made me appreciate the dampening.
And ps...you don't "need" sticky tires to have fun in a Datsun Roadster, just Enjoy The RIde!

Yep, I've come to feel that the Bs are just about the best overall change you can make to the car that you will appreciate every single drive, especially if you like to drive even somewhat spiritedly. Take it from someone who has been on a comp suspension for over 36 years!

Driving Sora on my favorite twisty roads I was reminded just how good the Bilstein shocks from Jim Tyler are. They really improve the ride and I highly recommend them especially with the stiff NISMO suspension.

Dear Sora (1967 Datsun 2000),
Don't you dare think of leaking oil or having electrical problems now :)

Hey Premo,
It is my neighbor's. Storing it for him while he has his roof replaced.
