Hello, I am trying to find out the manufacturer of my Shelby Viper ( Libre look alike) 14" wheels. Anybody have any knowledge on these? I am trying to buy the right center caps. American Racing?

If they are the Shelby Libre copy, the caps are really hard to find. Bob2 had hard time getting them, if I recall.
Try Torquethrust Terry maybe (google it)

I believe Mark (datsunrides) has a set and has a solution for the center cap that looks good.

Replied to PM. Shelby is the manufacturer. They made a lot of wheels in the 70's. The original caps are extremely rare. In 4 years of searching, I only found 2 so I went with the plastic caps shown in the pic Mike posted.

Yes you should! They were one of the hardest to find items I ever encountered for a roadster. I checked for loose ones everytime I put gas in the car.

Is this a correct cap? The wheel is a Shelby Viper, 14x5.5, and meets Sema specs, it also has the rib in the spoke like the AR version has....Bill

What is the bore diameter of the wheels you need caps for? That is the critical piece. You can find aftermarket caps that will work.

Ok, so far great, as a group you have identified my wheels and even sent me some pics. You are living up to the sites reputation. Now find some caps!. In the meantime, i have stripped the wheels to aluminum(were painted satin black) and have a question which I realize is completely subjective....what color would YOU paint them?

What color is your body?
a few different color/finishes here:

you can't go wrong with a polished lip and natural/grey or black spokes
