I need some help with the 'general maintenance stuff'.

I see that there is an oil sticky which is great, but wondered if we could start a list of items, like oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, etc and where is a good place to buy them and which ones are kind of junk.

I did see there is a whole write up on the wiki for oil filters. other than that i don't know.
I'd be glad to help, but i'm still so greed w/the roadster, that i'd be fearful of giving bad data.
Or maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing. maybe someone who's more seasoned could chime in and put me/us on the straight and narrow.

Wix 51512 is readily available locally for me.

You can still get the filter elements for the glass bowl fuel filter and the SU air cleaner from a Nissan dealer if you have one local, but it takes a few days for them to order and receive them.

Doh, I knew about the oil filter info in the wiki. Not that big of a choice for the fuel filters. I suppose part numbers would be good. I generally use the aftermarket glass ones with the replaceable filter available from many of the chain auto parts stores. I will be keeping the 67.5 stock so I need to hunt for a good useable replacement glass bowl as it is busted. Thanks.

Reviving an old thread to add the p/n for the filter element: 16404-68225

Added a new section to the Tech Wiki called Fuel-Carbs and moved all the fuel-carb related info from the engine section to the new section. Also put the Mikuni manual in there as well as the glass fuel filter info. Thanks.
