Hi Everyone big Datsun/Nissan fan here, a friend of mine just started an LS2 V8 swap into a 67 and I wanted to join up and see if there are any helpful hints on here.

There is a whole section on Engine swaps. Search is your friend.
There is a Ford 302 transplant that was exceptionally well done, not sure if anyone has put anything much bigger than that in a Roadster.
The weight bias is gonna be very front loaded. Post pictures if you can!

Welcome to the forums!

If such a beast exists, Alvin here will know and have photos. Your best bet (as the previous poster noted) is to head over to the engine swap section.

Hi I just found this site a few months ago, great place for info. and getting the fever back again. I have owned my 69 2000 since 75 and it has been sitting for about 6 years (clutch). I was looking for parts to bring it back to life once again and I found a 69 1600 which I bought for parts but it runs great and I am having fun with that, so now I'm up to two again. I am having alt. charging issues and would like to make the swap to a GM alt. but I don't have the smog brackets anymore. Where can I get those parts? Thanks it is good to be back in a roadster but I sure do miss that 5 speed. Jim in Miami

Also Jim, Welcome!
Why not post your own intro (in this forum). Then you can post pictures too!
