Well I should be getting my 311 delivered today . It's a project for sure . I'm thinking its a 68 but I'm not sure yet theits been sitting out for a long time but the motor looks good no foam in the oil and it looks complete . The body is in ok condition I haven't seen any major cancer except for the hood and its got a dent in the right rear . The interior is pretty crunchy. I will post some pics soon I have been a long time datsun fan and I used to have a 510 wagon

Welcome! I think you will like the Roadster more than the goon you used to have.

Teh tech wiki has factory Manuals. After that I recommend Scott Scheeler's Roadster Book, you can get that online and I believe the Vendors may have this as well?
Check out the Vendor links section.

Well the passenger fender looks like a '68, but the drivers looks like a 70!
Not unusual for a bit of mix and match to go on. Welcome to a common term here - Sins of the PO (previous Owner).

68 had no side marker lights, 69 had tear drop shaped marker lights and 70 had rectangular shaped marker lights.
Add to that, some models were titled in the year they were sold, not in the year of manufacture.
Visit the Rallye website for the thread on "What Year Car do I have?"

Welcome.
You will find a lot of support and commonality on this forum.
As others have pointed out, your roadster seems to be an amalgam of different years. My 68 was a good example of a "Frankenroadster", a 68 frame, 69 front fenders, reworked rear quarters that looked to be 66, and an low # U20 engine. It is only now in the painful and expensive final stage of putting it back together I realize how misguided the previous owner(s) were with their innovative solutions. However, the forum's experts can assist in rectifying any issue, whether it is sourcing replacement rare parts or achieving reliability or performance levels.
Looking forward to more pics and stories.
