I would love to try and make this.

I wonder what "better raffles" means?

It means better than last years, and we had good ones last year. This year we have more sponsors.

You should make it. One of the raffles is a ventur pass to the Grand Canyon for the day after the show

2nd Annual Multi-State Datsun Classic – October 5-7, 2012 in Williams, AZ

Registration for the 2nd Annual Multi-State Datsun Classic opened on July 15 and registrations have been coming in from all over, but the Roadsters are getting outnumbered by the Z Cars. At this time of the registered cars we have 35.7% are Z Cars and 28.6 are Roadsters, the rest are 510s, Coupes and Diamond in the Rough. Let’s get the Roadster numbers up and be the dominating Datsuns at this show.

Let’s make this the largest ALL Datsun gathering in the west, or in the country. It’s not an unrealistic task, it can be done – and the Roadsters can make the difference. Get registered, get your friends to register, this is a great event – Friday night Meet and Greet, Saturday the Show and a Poker Walk has been added, and Sunday Fun Runs as we head home.

And for anyone wondering "what will that long drive do to my prtty paint", I have an automotive bra for the front end that someone gave me, you can borrow it for the trip if you want. It actually fits quite well and has nice felt-like material on the inside.

Hey Datsun owners, about a month to get your registration in for the 2nd Annual Multi-State Datsun Classic. Welcoming ALL Datsun 1985 and older to meet in Williams Arizona for a great time of showing off our rides and helping a great cause; Camp Reach for the Sky. When cancer hits someone it takes so much of their life away during treatment, and for a child that has not had a long life to begin with to get hit with cancer it is that much more difficult. Camp reach for the Sky is a camp that these kids can go to for free and if needed get the attention from medical professionals while they are there.

The Multi-State Datsun Classic proudly supports Camp Reach for the Sky. We have several fun activities planned for everyone this year so be sure to make it out to Williams Arizona October 5, 6 & 7, 2012 for the Friday Night Meet & Greet, Saturday’s Show and Sunday Fun Run. Pre-registration assures that you get the shirt size you want and gives us a good idea of how many to plan for and what awards to order. Last year there were 50 Datsuns from 6 states and one from Mexico, let see if we can beat that number this year!

There are Awards for each class, T-Shirts, Raffles, 50/50, Poker Walk, Vendors, Display cars, Great people, Great town, meet the Mayor of Williams John Moore who will be picking the car for Best of Show “The Mayor’s Choice Award”.

The Multi-State Datsun Classic, on the Historic Route 66 at the Dairy Queen in Williams Arizona. To register log onto: http://www.nostalgicdatsun.com and click the Events button

See y’all in Williams!

2nd Annual Multi-State Datsun Classic - 3Days Left

Post by NostalgicDatsun.com »

There is only 3 days left to get your pre-registration in. Registration is available the day of the event and at the Friday night Meet & Greet but if you wait and want a T-Shirt you will be taking a chance on what is available – no guarantee on sizes and the same goes for Goodie Bags once pre-registration closes. Pre-registering helps give us an idea on how many of which awards to get and what to plan on for everything else.

As the Rules and Regulations state; on September 15 if there are not enough cars in a certain class to warrant getting three awards then there only Best in Class will be awarded. Even if there are enough cars that sign up the day of the event to fill that class, only Best in Class will be awarded.

So far this is not the case with most of the classes. Compared to other shows you can’t beat the registration fee for this show. So if you haven’t registered yet now is a good time to do it. So far we have 47 cars registered, just a few shy of last year’s total count.
