14 x 6 Panasport for a roadster?

While I get the concept of offsets I don't understand the specific offset requirements. These are advertised as 8 spoke "classics" off of a Z with 0 offset. Any idea if they would be a fitment issue on a 67 or 68 with OE rotors and calipers?

S30 fitment is "0" offset
for the roadster that zero offset creates clearance issues on the rear fenders
You want something close to +15mm offset
You can order proper 14x6 Panasports from any of our vendors

Thanks Alvin- These are offered quite cheap locally. It sounds though like it wouldn't work without flaring the fenders- I was looking for cool, cheap and easy....

If they are available locally see if you can test fit one on the back...never hurts to try and it will give you a better idea of what offset will work for own roadster...clearances vary widely between cars!

An option if the Panasports don't work out is a VTO Classic 8 in a 14x6 +18 offset. These are 73mm center bore so they will need a 1/8" spacer to clear the hub and they will need longer studs, same as the Panasports typically do.
The VTO 14x6 Classic 8 is $165/wheel with lugnuts, valve stems and center caps.

the Panasports we sell do not need spacers or longer studs.

Both my sets of Panasports use stock studs and no spacers.

It sounds like Panasport fixed their stud thread engagement issue since the Tech Wiki article "Wheel studs for Panasport fitment" was written.
Roadster studs are like many older cars designed to use steel wheels. The front studs only project out .9" from the mounting face. This is why many early alloy wheel manufacturer's went with shank type lugnuts so they would engage the needed amount of stud threads. With tapered seat lug nuts on alloy wheels, they tend to need longer studs for proper thread engagement.
The standard for threaded fasteners to be considered properly fastened is to have the length of thread engagement equal to or longer than the thread diameter. The Roadster's 7/16-20 studs requires a minimum of 7/16" of thread or 8.75 turns for proper thread engagement.
Chris, if you have the opportnity to fit the Panasports to your car check the thread engagement length as it sounds like some Panasports have had issues.
