What's an MC Needle? I'm pretty sure I put British Needles (N47's as I recall) in when I did my rebuild. But just wondering what MC needles are, I assume they are like SU stands for Skinners Union.

The SU's performance should not differ much at all in any elevation.

However, elevation does a cause a mixture imbalance on Solex and TWM carbs.

Dan Neff missed a relatively obvious point. A fresh rebuild (street) will have more friction than an older motor and therefore produce less power. Once it wears a bit, the power increases until the wear allows power loss. John will be having more fun as time goes along...

Does anyone know how Guy Selle got the 10:1 compression? Did he bore it, make custom pistons, or mill the head and block?
Just wondering.
