Resurrection of my 66 primer king.

Resurrection of my 66 primer king.
In hopes of inspiring myself to get this beast going again after sitting for over a decade I am starting a thread.
Bear with me and forgive me for not doing an epic resto. Right now, running and back on the road is good enough for me.
History; This was a runner and turned into a parts car for my former 70 and 67.5 So I took a bunch of stuff apart and did massive robbery. Motor and tranny were stolen amongst other things.
It ended up sitting at Paul and Pam Bauman's house for a while, and I am very grateful to them for storing my rolling chassis.
After picking it up, I now had a motor-less hulk.
Fast forward a couple of years. I bought a 67.5 motor and transmission with very low mileage. To my delight it came complete and with a new set of Z therapy carbs.
Dropped that baby in but hooked nothing up. It was put on a trailer on it's way to Norcal from LA.
Here it has sat for a couple of years and I have just recently started playing with it. I say playing, because no real work has been done. Just a bit of cleaning and evaluation time to re familiarize myself with the car and the issues needing to be addressed. A decade of sitting sure takes it's toll on these cars. Not to mention the knowledge of these cars that has been forgotten.
One baffling issue is this and I am open to suggestions; The car was stored with the key in the ignition, a working ignition I may add. As soon as I pulled out the key to put back on my key chain, it became inoperative.........They key will not go back in!! I shot some lube into the cylinder, but still no such luck. I sure do not want to have to buy another ignition switch.
Another was the driver door would not latch completely, always worked fine before, well after a week of working it with some wd 40 that works again.
Now today, we made some actual real progress!! I hooked up the clutch hydraulics, did a quick bleed and lo and behold, we have a clutch!!!! hooray!
Now onto brakes
I have a frozen brake master, boy talk about pedal pressure. This has so much pressure it is immobilized. I also have rounded over brake line nuts, and who knows the condition of the calipers and pistons.
Well, at least we are moving forward.
Edit: news flash!! Just crawled under the car, and sure enough I still have my comp sway bar! At least I didn't steal that!
So, we have a clutch, a good motor and tranny, 2 inch exhaust, Z therapy carbs and a comp sway bar! I'd say we're off to a good start.

Better a wise ass than a dumb ass I guess. If you have a loupe, look inside the switch to see if there is debris in there.
