Solvang to SoCal

I made it back to San Diego without incident. I got a few thing to fix, but not much.

Loved Solvang, like always.
Bitter sweet to seeing Victor....I'll start taking better car of myself tomorrow.

I remember when I first met Victor at Solvang in the late 90s..His 2000 was stock and I was driving my yellow 2000 that had the full comp. set-up.....suspension, roll bar, oil pan, cam, and Solexes with the cam advanced for better torque. The interior was stripped including no vent or side windows....

Victor did not like that he could not keep up and IIRC he over reved he's motor and lost a shim or bent a valve.
We removed the rockers from that cylinder and he drove the car home from Solvang....those were the good old days.....

The rest is history.....Victory always wanted to be at the front of the pack and soon we was there.
