Dorky idea for a virtual car show...

Post by spl310 »

Here is something that came to me while towing the camper the other day. I think it would be cool if we posted pics of our cars at a sign that has something to do with them. For example, in Florida there is a Datsun Trail. Any 310 or 311 mile marker. State Highway 310 or 311. State Road 20 would be good for the SR20 swappers. Exit number sign as appropriate. You get the idea. I checked wikipedia, and they have a list of highways numbered 310 and 311. What do y'all think?

Will this do? It's not a street sign and it's not my driving Roadster, but it is my Roadster with a sign (Banner) :)

Is this the actual thread, or is it going to be a new thread? I found a spot.

Highway 311 runs right through Winston-Salem on the way to High Point, Horneytown and Climax.
I just need to get a picture by each sign someday!

The trick is not to get from Horneytown to Climax too quickly, go slow, pace yourself, think about baseball.

From Dictionary.com

dork·y

stupid, inept, or unfashionable.

Which one is this idea? (or is it all 3?).

Driving back from Solvang on Sunday on Hwy 101...

Too much traffic on the road, so didn't feel good about getting out for a full shot including the car.
