1500 parts

I was cleaning the trunk of a 64 1500 and found these.
They look original to me but where are they for?
Softtop storage?

Curious. They look like Sun visors for the windscreen. Is it possible that they are not original to the vehicle at all?

They go on the soft top frame when it is down. They cover the hinges. Just for looks, but they are original.

IIRC, On a 1500, you remove the soft top frame from the bracket and then stow it, it doesn't fold down, so the covers go over the bows before you put the assembly into it's storage clips.

had them copied from the original and made new from Sonnenland material.
looks good and they protect the vinyl.
