Haha, thanks to the (probably deliberate) overexposure, my car doesn't look so bad! :P

Your car fits right in. Good job of keeping the DATSUN name out there.

Roll bar is coming along with some elbow grease. Still working on a few little rust stains. Probably going to have to lose the label and re-create it in Photoshop.

Paint/powdercoat -- or clearcoat the steel? :)

My $600 header came in as well. Here are pics before sending it off for coating.

Couple of flaws as noted in the other thread, but overall I think it's terrific.

So is this header subject to cracks like the OEM exhaust?
And is the flex pipe a good idea also?

@ linda: Flex pipe is awesome for the section that passes through the frame. You don't have to crimp solid pipe. I don't know about the cracking issues, I'm too new to the Roadster game.

@ pebbles: yeah definitely a Hobrecht bar. The sticker says "Hobr__" and "Roll bars and St____". It's pretty chewed up though.

Garm,
The OEM exhaust is prone to cracking if not braced and the flex pipe helps. I know nothing about stainless though.
Looks good.

Installed. I'm putting matching steel plates underneath, the way Autopower bars are installed. Better pics soon.
