Peter, sounds great - I'm free on Sunday, racing on Saturday (not the Roadster... yet)

Lots of updates Pretty much spent the weekend doing a bunch of small stuff.

The heater works now. Yay.
The horns decided to start working today. One less thing to work on!

Emissions stuff totals 18 pounds, for the record. All off now:

Cleaned up the backup lights, switch and put in new bulbs. They work now!

1. Smartwax "carpet cleaner" - mild citrus cleaner, great for dirt on anything, gentle on gaskets!
2. Smartwax dressing - softens, reconditions and adds shine to vinyl, plastic, rubber, etc.
3. Turtle chrome polish for chrome parts.

Now I know why the tach doesn't work. It wasn't attached at either end!

Soooo... where does this end go? I'll have to check the diagrams.

Problem: I want the headrests all the way down. Looks better and lines up with my neck.

Removed the screws, pulled the headrests.. no extra holes!
Do people drill and tap new holes to reset the headrest height?
I will if I have to.

Position I found them in:

Where the hole should be to put them all the way down securely:

And finally.... I removed the front bumper (again) to fix the air scoop the leads to the bottom of the radiator.

Kind of liked the look without the bumper, sooo.... I checked our stock on "Password JDM" tow hooks and what do you know, nice fit for a "BRE style" Roadster!
The only problem is I had to use the rear only from two kits (kit is about $70 each from our store), so that makes them a little pricey. The "front" tow hook is too fat to fit through the hole with cutting one or the other.

What do you think?

The wood shift knob is sweet. Tow hooks don't rock my world, but I like the bumper so....
The tach cable in the engine compartment should go to the pedestal base directly underneath the distributor.
