A couple of Datsun Owners will be attending the 'Blast to the Past' Gathering in Katy, TX on 1/14/12.

The plan is to meet-up at Diner 59 in Katy TX at 2:15 for a late lunch.

Then we will rollout together to the Car gathering at 3:30PM. I attended the previous 'Blast to the Past' meet and had a terrific time. It would be great if other Datsun owners could join.

Back for a second time, West Houston Muscle and Caliber Collision have teamed up for another Blast to the Past After Hours meet!!

The last time we had over 730 cars and over 2500 people, lets try and beat that for the new year!!

Due to daylight savings, and the winter time, gates will open at 3:30, and the event will be from 4pm until 7pm. Bring friends, family, children, all are welcome!

Entrance is:
$10 for contest participants (at the gate, day of event)
$5 for spectators (entry fee per car load)

You can also purchase your one-time spectator or participant pass ahead of time at http://bpafterhours2012.eventbrite.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the same price.

Like before, this meet is not only for muscle cars, all car enthusiasts are welcome and encouraged to come as well!

I'm expecting pics.

Yesterday was a blast - beautiful weather and a great Datsun turnout thanks to Dan. I had a "blast." There were some amazing 280z's, a 510 goon wagon w/ a VG30 engine and carbon fiber hood, 2 roadsters, an incredible 810, a flared 510, and plenty of 350's and 370 NISMOs.

And this guys had the craziest set-up of old school PPI amps, multiple alpine EQs, and a late 80's alpine cassette deck! It is a recent build using vintage Ebay purchases.

Dang! I wish I'd had known, I was just putzing around Saturday! Oh well, sure looks like you had a great time!

Edit: OK, I just spotted this was posted a couple of weeks ago and I missed it. I guess I have to try and keep my head out of my a$$ and pay attention! Doh!
