Hi all,
I have been IMing with Joaquin for a couple of days. He has a cool car and needs some help getting it put together. I can't do him much good from Florida, but you left coast guys can! Help him get this critter back on the road!! He will need more than just those parts, he needs help and encouragement. Is anyone nearby that can get him in a club? Perhaps a Roadster Building party would be cool.

I would if you were in the central valley.
I have family in Westminster and Diamond Bar, but they are hardly mechanically inclined.
I am sure there are some Lobbies lurking the forum that can give some assistance.
15 years old with a 67.5... you lucky dog!
close by, can help

Hey there,
I am just down the road from Buena Park in Huntington Beach, and can swing by and give ya some help. I am a bit time challenged, due to ~ new baby, but we can work around that. It'll probably help me get of my a#% and get more of my roadster projects done. I may have a few grill ideas for ya..... don't worry you'll see.

A free roadster? And it's a 67.5? Kinda like winning the Lotto without buying a ticket. Some ppl have all the luck.
Gee, with some help it'll be running when Joaquin is old enough to drive!

We have several people in Orange county that would love to help build your car. Since you are 15 and still in high school, you might want to think about getting your car into your school's shop if it has one. That way you can make it a project and learn about the ins and outs while you are at it.
I am having a barbecue at my place on Labor day and there will be plenty of cars there for you to check out and plenty of roadster people to ask questions of.
Let me know if you would like to come to the barbecue and I will send directions.
Hope to see you there!

. And sure i would i would be flattered to go to your barbecue and check out some fellow roadster people. Thanks for inviting me, i will see if i have time to go. Can you give me your address to see if i am able to get a ride to the bbq. Thanks

OK guys, Joaquin is not feeling the love. He has this cool car, and no one has stepped forward to help him out in person. Plus, he has NEVER even ridden in a Roadster. Someone must live nearby that can give him a ride around the block and help him with the finer points of reassembling a 4 million piece jigsaw puzzle. Come on, step up to the plate!!
I would, but the commute from Florida would suck....

Im trying but AOL is tough. We talk on a regular basis. It would be nice if someone a little closer than either Sid or myself could go help this guy out. He is flustered and a little frustrated with it. He seems to be a bright kid, just needs some roadster guidance.

Thanks Will and Sid for trying so hard for someone to help me. Hopefully someone can actually come through and help me out with this thing since i have no idea where pieces go due to the fact that i did not take it apart, and i received it taken apart.
