Or at least under the car. I've owned my 1600 since 1972 or 1973. It got sidelined by smog regulations and life until now. I've made a few starts and stops but a chance encounter with the SoCal bunch in Arizona inspired me to once again pick up the wrench.
During the early years, I did all the work (except body work) myself and have been through it several times but will probably still need a few words of advice from all of you.

I am a little farther on than in this shot. The rear end is redone and replaced back on the car.

I love that color on a roadster. When I was a kid my dad had a cough cough MGB that color and I loved it then too.
Cheers

That is pretty close to the stock color. It has been repainted several times. When I was younger, I think it had a magnetic front end that drew it into other objects requiring body work and repainting. One it was that odd yellow/green that Z's used.
Kind of like this color.
