67.5 dash touch up paint

Hi all,

I am seeking suggestions for black touch up paint for a '67.5 dash. I have a couple of little nicks near the glove box and some spots below the radio where the PO did some mods to install a cassette deck.

I don't intend to respray the dash anytime soon. I just want to cover the silver that is showing through with something that will look close to the surrounding black paint and not be too shiny.

Satin black with a fine tip brush should do the trick.

Is it a "wrinkle" finish? And is the wrinkle finish a concern?

I'm not too concerned with the wrinkle finish since the visible bare spots are small. (Should I be?) There is a larger one below the radio that is fairly hidden. I don't know for sure if it is the original dash paint, but I think so. I do have some rust showing above the toggle switches, but am afraid it would look worse if I touched it. Pics below.

Matching the color will be a challenge. Try a hobby store, grab a couple "testors" in a few shades and mix and match small amounts, till its close, and try an inconspicuous place first.
