Nice pics as usual Alvin. Surprised I did not bump into you there. I heard from Bart that one of the caravan group had a pretty bad accident on the way to the show. He said the car was badly damaged but the driver and son were ok. Any update?

Mark, we definitely saw your Colt, check the gallery :D
Too many people and too many cars!

Not sure if we are talking about the same incident but I did talk to Chris B and he said only 5 miles from the show a rubbish truck filled with metal parts was in front of his roadster and it dropped something metal that flew onto his roadster's hood...paint damage only but it sucked

No, I heard about that also. My understanding was another site member (?) got caught out by the slick road and spun out or something causing substantial damage. I did see my car in your gallery. :) There just does not seem to be much mitsu love out there. Even the box type Lancer did not seem to have much of a crowd. I did manage to score a sweet dual carb setup for my Colt coupe though! :D

It was a good show. Rough day for Roadster owners though. On the way to the show it rained just enough to make the oils on the road a problem, it was Keith that made a turn and spun out, hitting and jumping a curbed medium and landing the wrong way in traffic, his son was with him and shook up some. he ended up at the show but without a car since it was no longer drivable. For me, driving on the freeway about 2 miles out from the show a scrap metal truck lost a peice of something looking like a steel fresbee, as it flew through the air in my direction I realized, sh*t this can hurt! the last second in flew done bouncing off my hood, hitting my fender and twisting my antena in to an unnatural shape, prefect right before the show I took first in two years ago. Then as the show was over and we were leaving Eriks car loses a valve seat and heads home on a flatbed tow truck. The good of the day, Carita got 3rd place, Andrew took 2nd and Carols took home 1st. Congrats you guys!

Yes, it is a bad deal for all involved in what happened yesterday. I'm glad to hear everyone ended up OK. Cars are replaceable, people are not.

I had a great day out at the JCCS show-- it was great to talk with my fellow 311s.org friends!

A few shots I took during the show.
