Geewiz!! I can't seem to get away from these little beasts!

I am helping a friend with his 1966 Fairlady Roadster sitting in his driveway. I have the option to buy this car, but right now I am more focused on my daughters and college....so the next best thing is to have this as a project without the ownership. I can live with that for now.

As usual I will be making vids and taking pics of this new project. The next on the list is the 1969 510 you will see in the background. The engine has been built with pop up pistons and runs very well. This car has been sitting for a few years so I will have my hands full with rust and making her roadworthy.

I tend to take a lot of pictures of my projects to document those moments when you wish you had a picture of a particular part of the process. (Been there!) I also will post youtube vids when she is running and such. The help I get here will be invaluable.

lol!! You mean the pics of the projects?? By the looks of your signature..I would say projects. I am going to have fun parusing this site. There is a ton of info!

I know..wierd. There is a match to the front plate in the trunk so my guess is the one on the back is a special classic car plate.

Welcome! Looks like she is riding very low in the rear. Can't wait to see the transformation. I took hundreds of pictures of mine resto and still wish I would have taken more!

I think in this pic the rear right tire was flat.
Oh and there's a ton of parts in the trunk...maybe a half ton...

Thanks,it's sort of an old school James Bond-licence plates change-thing,except neither have current tags or match the car lol
Previous owner had some extras I guess. Will probably try to get some historical plates for it.
Though the state plate (in Oregon) is quite nice too.

Help!
Upon closer inspection,the gas tank has a lot of rust,we're going to try to replace it.
I'm going to do some searching,but any tips on where I could source one or something that will fit with mods,or fuel cell options etc. would be mucho appreciated!
It's a '66

Bob2 has a late model fuel tank for sale on Ebay right now that looks pretty good. You can plug the vent line and use it with a 66 I believe but you should confirm.
