has anyone found a different frame that will work with these cars

Depends on what you plan to do with it. If you are doing a restoration, no. One of the early sedans used the same frame, but that is even harder to find than the Roadster. If you are doing a custom, a Cobra replica frame can be made to work. They can be had for about $3500 or so. The issue would be the track width as they are typically for the 427 cobra and that car is a good 10 inches or more wider than the Roadster.
How bad is your frame? You may be able to weld it. These are VERY stout frames, so they can take some damage and be patched.

Although a step backwards in technology, the Moris Minor pickup truck and van use a seperate frame, and the wheelbase and track width is nearly identical to the Roadster.
I have a MM van, and I have been toying with the idea of acquiring a not-so-great roadster frame and see how the van fits on it. The roadster has far better brakes and suspension than the Morris.
