I've been lurking on the website for a few short months now, reading and getting great ideas how I want to restore my Roadster. I found a 1968 2000 which lived in a field for the past 10 plus years. Tags are 95 so it's been a while. Ironically the car will start but the brakes locked up. So now the car is with my mechanic for many items and the beginning of the restoration.

I had owned a couple of 240z cars in my youth and loved loved loved them. Knew I wanted to restore a car someday when I discovered the ever so beautiful Roadster. I bought the Fairlady from a guy that had 7 of the babies in a field. I managed to get the only 2000 he had.

Although I'm not as hands on as some of you all, I am looking forward to the results and getting to finally drive my baby. My dream is to make it a daily driver, even with a hidden hitch to put on an Autolink golf club case to take her off to the course.

Thank you all for posting all the great tips, ideas, issues you've encountered. Whenever I have a question, this is the first place I start my research.

Welcome and glad that you have switched from lurker to owner!
Post some pictures in the starting stages so we can see the progress on your project. Also please post your location in your profile (I for one don't know what Sac town is! :-) )
